Prices and stock reach the store from a single ERP export
VerticalTrend sells workwear and safety equipment online, with thousands of products in several sizes and colours. Prices and stock are kept in the ERP, and the shop had to reflect them without typing them in product by product. On top of that, the shop ran on a subdomain separate from the main site and needed a partner to keep it fast and safe.
What we built
The situation
Prices and stock live in WinMENTOR, and the shop needed them on every product and every size and colour variant. The main domain was just a catalogue, orders were placed on a subdomain, and imports ran through scripts placed straight on the site. In 2026, bots started hammering the filtered pages and creating ghost carts.
What we built
An import module in the shop's admin: you upload the Excel file exported from the ERP, check the preview, and on confirmation simple products and every variant are updated with price, stock and weight. Other dedicated modules add new products from Excel, with images and PDF sheets.
We moved the shop to the main domain, with a verified backup, permanent redirects from the old addresses and card payments reconfigured. We blocked the bots before they reach the shop, improved speed and ran a full security clean-up: code checked, admin access changed, old tools taken off the site.
We host and maintain the shop. It also runs SICO MEDIA's own modules: the WhatsApp button, Google reviews and the EU withdrawal button.
What changed
- Prices and stock update from one file, on every size and colour.
- One shop, on the main domain, with old addresses redirected.
- The site no longer goes down under bot traffic, and pages load faster.
- A clean shop with secured admin access.
