Avatar Shop
Photo and video gear, sold online by a photography school
Avatar Shop sells photo and video gear from Constanța, next to the Avatar photo studio and school. The shop had to make a wide catalogue easy to browse, from lenses to studio lights, show clearly what is in stock and what comes to order, and link to the school's courses.
What we built
The shop
We built the shop on PrestaShop. The catalogue is split by category (cameras, lenses, lights, accessories, studio gear, drones, streaming) and by brand, with filters, sorting, stock and sale labels, quick view and a wishlist.
In-stock products have their own filter, "In stock, ready to ship", with one-to-two-day delivery. Card payments are accepted, and the menu leads straight to the studio's photography courses.
What we do for the shop
We host and run the shop, add new features, customise it and write dedicated modules where PrestaShop falls short.
What changed
- A wide catalogue, easy to browse by category and brand.
- What is in stock shows up with one filter, delivered in one or two days.
- The shop and the photography school point to each other.
- Hosting, running and development, by one team.
